The following updates and changes have been made:

1) Auto Play has been replaced by "Quick Match"
You now have the option to turn ON or OFF Quick Match mode. By turning on Quick Match, you will be automatically entered into races with other players that are also in Quick Match mode. You can do this while you are either ONLINE or OFFLINE. If you are OFFLINE, Quick Match will continue to race for you against other Quick Match Players. While ONLINE, you can watch as you get matched up against other players and review your timeslips between races.

With Quick Match OFF, you can choose whom you'd like to race by manually requesting a challenge from their Race Profile page.

Quick Match will still refuel, tune-up and buy tires. Quick Match Options can be found in your "My Profile" page.

While Quick Match is ON, you cannot change vehicles, sell your current vehicle, car jack, steal, home invade or recruit.

You must be Skill Level 3 or higher to use Quick Match

*Note: Quick Match will also follow rule #2 below. Thus it may not ALWAYS find a match up.

2) A "Race Range" is now being enforced. You can only steal, home invade and recruit from other players that have a networth of less than DOUBLE your networth and higher than HALF your networth.

IE: If you have a networth of $200,000, than you can only steal, home invade or recruit from other players that have a networth between $100,000 to $400,000.

Note: There are plenty of ways to "hide" your networth in the game so you can drop into lower range if you need to.

EDIT: You can challenge any player to a race regardless of networth. However, Quick Match will only match you up with other players within your race range.

3) Experience has changed *DRAMATICALLY*!

We will not divulge exactly how it works now, but we will say this:
- experience gained is no longer based on networth
- both you and your opponents ET counts
- Power Rating (PR) counts
- Skill level counts

4) Home Invasions algorithm revamped! It is much easier to be successful now.

5) ADDED: Crew Models can only be gained if you are Online.

6) ADDED: More experience is gained if you are racing Online.

Enjoy!

*** Update: I've posted some tips on 3rd page of this thread. ***

More bad ideas.

Sounds like it'll be interesting though for sure.

sounds like fun. it seems almost like crew races where you'll get matched with anyone, except they have to be with in range now. hmmm. interesting. makes lvling up very different now. sounds like a fun round of experimentation. :D

all good ideas besides the race range...that just kills HI again

So..... if you jump in NW......... you cant race anyone? Why spend then? Raymond have you really thought about this? There wont be any reason to get credits.

The last round, was one of the BEST in a long time....... Why mess with success?

You had a lot of brand new hitters, and people spent stupid money. Seems like last round was one to emulate or refine, not get rid of.

Won't waste credits on Hi either..........The only way to make cash will be to work BUT not much, cause you'll have no one to race. This seems like a terrible idea on first glance. IF you remove or extend the "range" to 10X it will probably work. But 2X will suck for lots of reasons.

It requires a brand new strategy now. I'll say it again, EXP per race has NOTHING to do with networth now.

So you'll have to figure out a different approach.

Dyna Has A Point About, How Last Sessiopn People Spend Stupidly To Get So Far In Front Net-Wise HI-Wise + CJ-Wise, Yet They Have All Been Changed, Therefore They Wont Spend As They Need To Figure Out How To Cope With The New Changes First...

Not sayin that in the future i wont run again but really see no point in wastin all that time or money tryin to figure out how it works on the first session. Took me almost a year to run for top crew when i first started playin now everythings changed .Guess i'll be runnin in about a year... a few sessions before they change the game again

Untouchable>meltdown :)

the nw range is way too small to be honest, put it up to 5x or 10x your nw at least when they are online, 2x offline if you have to

Here's a few tips and strategies concerning the new changes:

1) You can still jump up in networth, however you can always "hide" your true networth by buying/selling items to adjust your Networth to move into or out of other peoples race range. By doing this, you can HI them and then get out of their range to attack you back.

Remember, cars in your garage do not count towards your NW.

2) Staying in a 'pack' of players may be more worthwhile than jumping ahead and being by yourself, at least until the end of the game period draws near.

Having a good strategy will help here. Perhaps have a partner and jump NW together. Or use your whole crew to create a ladder of NW's and climb up.

Devise your own game plan that works for your style of play.

3) The Race Range may prevent you from attacking the higher up players, but it also works both ways - it's protecting those at the top from lower players.

4) Tighter races will yield more experience per race than if the race is totally one sided.

5) In a bind, buying and selling calendars is a fast way to drop NW.

6) Remember, your networth plays NO ROLE in the amount of experience you gain while racing.

7) Quick Match FtW!

This set of changes is great for many reasons. I know many of you do not see ALL of them but this will create a more "FUN" atmosphere.

Dyna, the reason this round was the best in a long time was because there was competition up top for first place. Competition is going to be very close now, to the top.

Since I am speaking about competition, with these changes, changes that are in EVERY multiplayer type game like the race range, are changes that will promote the game to NEW players. These players will create even MORE competition and improve the FUN factor of MC. This round will be repeated many times over.

Funny thing Dyna, the race range, hiding your networth and dropping up and down in position to HI and quickly get away was what REV 1 was like. The race range was also there in REV 1. :)

Either way, nothing is set in stone, but I promise you will all love the game as much with these changes.

i could spend and jump to 900 bill and just stay logged off for the rest of the round and win because no one is going to jump to 450 bill just to hit me.

pointless, i was going to play this round but looks like it's back to SPTN

I am good either way :) Just give it a try, all I ask. No need to spend a penny to see how it works right? Just don't be a hater cuz you don't have the balls to try... :D <--- That goes for all of you.

I am willing to bet all of you who have complained so far are afraid that you will get owned by noob's cuz you don't have the game on lock anymore...hahaha

Stop complaining and play the game...

i say make this quick match just like SH racing and make it random this is getting lame racing the same people over and over since it's limited to those in ur nw range i'd like to see the chance of racing anyone makes it more fun and interesting then getting matched up w/ the same person 10 times in a row.

And I Think I Worked It Out, See If You Were Level 2, And You Raced A Level 1 With The Same Stock Honda Civic For Example, The Level 2 Would Win Coz Higher Level, And You Would Get Max Exp Coz The Times And Power Rating Are Sooo Close?
Let Me Know If This Is Right?
