Easy Contest! For Everyone

Since everyone is complaining about new contests and such, I will suggest this because no one is really helping me to do it.

This will be a temporary contest from now till May 19th.

I am looking for ideas for future contests.

-Terms and a layout on how the contests works.
-Must be a specific all around contest, Not just for vets or spenders.
-Valid fair contests
-Prizes (creds, memby, etc)
-Conditions and thorough subject matter


*ideas are subjected to be changed or modified towards how we see it fit and towards the good of the game.

Remember boys and girls. The more ideas you give the better chances of winning

Prizes will be announced soon. I have to go over with raymond about this. But im thinking of giving 5 prizes out.

1st 25k and membership for 1 month
2nd 15k and membership for 1 month

4th 5k credits
5th membership for 1 month

but so that spenders cant win it straight away make it that you have to win a certain amount of online races....or have a certain amount of cms lol...
and if people didnt have a crew...they make theyre on crew so they can get cms for the contest

how about a car building and tuning contest?

lets say Angie builds and tunes a honda fit using random parts.... and in the end she produces a car with a PR: 211 (100%) HR: 123 PF: 479

the contest would be: whoever can match angies PR, HR, and PF the fastest after posting the specs that are needed to match...

Variations: First to match five cars or how many numbers, match the exact same part list (if thats possible) or whatever :)

i believe this contest would be fair for non spenders no?

note: unfair for non members if a memby car is chosen

i havent really thought it through thoroughly so theres probably a few things that would need to be tweaked, but im sure the general gist of it is in there.

i love winterfell's idea! its brilliant solution! another add-on for it,Do like 2 cars for non members like a lvl 1 car so all can do it and a lvl 25 car or sumit then for members a lvl 1 memby car and all memby parts on it as much as possible and then a lvl 30 memby car with same idea...?

ps:it would also be quite fun to just test on cars.

there's not enough different parts for most cars

plus u can get the same numbers with more then one part, making it less of a competition.

thats why i suggested matching the same parts list to angie's car...

the honda fit has a generous selection of parts

the honda civic (lvl 1) has got a lot of parts

the golf also has a generous amount of parts

not to mention there are cars that can both be force induction and natural aspiration... like someone is going to know for sure...

angie could also upgrade one or two of the cars altering power rating without telling us... someone might upgrade a car when they dont have to thus making them having to rebuild the car again lol you never know, angie might even neglect to add a part to the car to car to try and throw you off

i tried to make the idea versatile

okay my first idea for the contest would be to encourage more online play. offer a prize of 5k credits to the first person to hit 600 CREW MODELS next period.

I find this would be useful because alot of people are stuck racing eachother over and over because too many people use the offline features

Here is my idea from another old thread/topic...I have also edited this idea from the original one a bit...

A series-type of contest would be fun, such as...

Say, the main objective of this contest is to complete all 3 tasks within half a week (or the alloted time frame). You must get 100 HIs, 25 boosts, and 30,000 recruited models and the prize is...$25 bucks of credits? That would be the first place prize. Another prize could be given if there is also someone else who achieves this goal within the alloted time. If there isn't anyone who completes all 3 tasks, then the closest person will receive the prize. Then, if this happens, this voids the availability of a 2nd prize being given out, since no one reached the goal in time. These numbers/figures can be altered to fit your needs, or whatever you view as worthy of contest materials. Hope this one becomes something official, I think some would like it.

I proposed/thought of this idea, just to try and balance the playing field a bit more. Someone whose skilled in HI won't take all of it, since they might struggle in obtaining the 25 cars or 30,000 models. This can also help some to become a little more well-rounded, instead of just being a HIer or a racer even...just my idea.

I hate to double post but, I sorta thought of another viable option for a contest.

This one cannot be implemented until next session, but here it is:

For those people who are racers, you might like this. Basically, the first crew to reach an average crew level of 20 within the first 35 hours of the game can win a certain increase in sponsorship rating. I believe everyone starts off at 5% rating, so how about having a 20% jump, so they'll end up with a rating of 25% rating within less than 48 hours of the new game period. However, if there are two crews that reach an average level of 20 within 35 hours, they can continue to duke it out to whoever reaches an average crew level of 30 in 15 hours after those 35 hours are up. Now, the crew whoever reaches this goal first, wins. They will receive a total of 40% increase to their rating, so they'll be up to 45% already with their sponsorships.

Sounds okay to everyone? If not, I can re-write it or clear up any confusion with this contest...again this contest might seem a little too easy, and there might be ways around this too, but yeah. The integers can be played around with as well, to be more suitable for a contest.

Appoint a quiz master... quiz master is in charge of preparing questions and asking them etc... keep a tally of who answers the question first and after set of questions whoever has the highest tally wins a small prize... in case of a draw have a sudden death or a best out of five

This is a great suggestion, I really like it. I will not take credit for what I say after this, but, also to increase the popularity of this quiz, it can be over whatever. Have you ever been to IRC chats with rooms that have a quiz bot installed? It could be something like that. Say, who was the great Russian author who lived in a Siberian gulag, and wrote "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denosovich"? And from here, they would have about 10-15 seconds to answer it correctly. First person who answers it correctly, wins a point. This could be played within a 30 minute session, so people don't spend their entire lives playing this quiz. Once the 30 minutes is up, whoever has the most points, wins a certain amount of credits awarded to their account. And this quiz bot can only be activated once at least 5 people are in the chat, to decrease the amount of cheating...

Does this sound ok for the quiz thing?

Actually, the prize for winning a "round" of quizzes would either be 500-1K credits, no more than that really. Cause I mean, some people get really into those, so there might be people actually staying on there for more than an hour quizzing. The shortness of each period would be good for something like 500-1K credits, cause it gives other people chances to win as well. The occurrence of prize credits being given out, to me, would be better if prizes were awarded every 30 minutes, instead of after every question. 500 credits for each question answered correctly...that's insane to me!

yer lol thought that after posted :P how about 1st gets 1000 creds 2nd 500and then 3rd 250 from then all participaters get 50 creds and each quiz thing lasts for 10-15 mins? but your not aloud to do more than 30 mins every 2 hours..? e.g.start:10:00-10:30 then 10:30 - 11:00 you have to wait till 1:00 to do 2 more but means everyone can win at least 50 creds if they stay for whole session...

To bring out more of the racing aspect of the game the contest should be like first person to 1000 wins and like 100 CMZ brought in.... the cmz make sure the are winning the races by being online and not just spaming offline races. also add a minimum of 5 Hi's

Top his in 1 round. Most wins in a round. Please read the requirements. Even if u suggest something like that i wont accept it in.

Atleast have a detailed layout and what they are competing for adn etc. THats the minimum atleast. There is 2 days left in the competition and thus far great suggestions.

Keep it going. If i see any effort, i might throw in a suprise prize for the #1.

A couple of ideas I can throw into the mix, no prize neccesary.. I'll try to keep thinking of em. Trying to help you out Ang.


Idea #1:

First to steal a specified car list (I know, kinda like other CI Game).
Release a list of cars, maybe even in the right order to make it more difficult. You can prove it was stolen because hte game tells you if it's stolen or not. First person to complete the list, gets the prize. This could be done to different degrees of difficulty (Harder lists, higher lvl cars..)

Idea #2:

Say you want to see who can steal a certain amount in the lowest amount of attempts.

Ex: Tokk says, first to steal 10 billion.

I go and HI 19 times to get 10 billion dollars combined between them.

Someone else hits higher people, and gets it in 12 HI's.

Second person wins. First idea is better, but both could be implemented pretty easily with screenshots and it'd be fun I think.

Idea #1-Quiz Bot.

It can't come in place untill next period.

Replace Live Chat with a Quiz Bot.The players that are online who just want some extra credits can go into the Quiz room.

Quiz
The bot will ask the person either 15 questions or 30 questions depending on what the player wants to do.You have 5 seconds to read the question and then the answers will apear and you have 5 seconds to answer it.

Each question you get right you get 50 creds.So if you get 15 out of 15 you get 750 creds.If you get 30 out of 30 you get 1500 creds.The Marking Scheme shows what you get for each question,Starting from 1 question answered equalling to 50 creds all the way to 30 questions answered equalling up to 1500 creds.

Marking Scheme
50,100,150,200,250,300,350,400,450,500,550,600,650 ,700,750,800,850,900, 950,1000,1050,1100,1150,1200,1250,1300,1350,1400,1 450 and 1500.

Once the time limit is up it will apear on screen what you got out of the total amount.

e.g.10/15 or 28/30.

Any player can do this,BUTthe player can only do EITHER the 15 question quiz 2 times a day at any point OR the 30 question quiz once a day so that people cant just do this over and over again for creds.

there isnt a set max pimp factor though, people just found a pimp factor that works cuz it gets 4200 IMz they havent taken the time to tune every car to insure that is indeed the maximum pimp factor avalible, and there are more ways to get IMz than just by cruising, for instance if im in my 800+ pimp factor car and i only have 2500 IMz, and I race someone that has 4200 IMz I have taken 2500 IMz in a race before. Meaning i have a total of 5000 IMz as opposed to the others that just have 4200...

Just an idea though
