god how i hate QM. for one, it doesn't seem very random at all even when pairing ppl up that are in the same race range. i see sooooo many ppl who have QM enabled that never get a matchup. it seems if you dont log on for a couple hours, you stop getting offline QM matches.

my peeve right now is i KEEP GETTING PAIRED WITH A GUY THAT MAKES THE RACE CANCEL. that is the most frustrating thing ever. c'mon guys. i know you can do a better job putting stuff out there. you've been writing these online game scripts for a while now. you should have a regular game going with a beta game for new ideas at the same time. that way you work out the kinks with stuff like QM. many online games use this concept.

easy to do. live version has everything that works. beta has new ideas/concepts so that ppl can play for free and give input whether there are bugs or if its a bad idea altogether. i guarantee if you guys had this setup in place from the get go, you'd still have a lot of the old timers. trust me on that one.

not to mention, you don't even get matched up every 4 mins. there are many times where you get skipped a round or two before your next QM. so ppl's credits should be building.

as that may be the case, there are several FLAWS with that.

for one, it still eats up the persons credits who could still race. i got pissed cause i lost a bunch of credits through this and anyone who is actually competing knows that credits are gold. for one, the credits should be returned and secondly the person without fuel should be excluded from the pool of QM players. QM needs work, but it puzzles my why the admin refuse to admit that. we put in our input to help improve things and provide a better gaming atmosphere.

- It will only refuel/retune, etc if you have cash and credits to do so

If both of those rules are not satified, it WILL NOT refuel/retune.

Absolutely not true. Since MC's inception the credit system has NEVER worked the way you described. If you are offline, you DO NOT accrue credits PERIOD.

Again, this is a GAME. It requires someone to PLAY IT. QM, like AP, is an *AID*. It will not replace a human player.

credits do refill offline. 12 credits every 5 min for me and 20 every 5 min for members. say i log out with 105, i should get 7 races and have accumulated almost 72 credits, which should get me races for the next 4 races. now QM will sometimes skip you for 2-3 races and i'll have accumulated even more credits which should be used for QM, but don't.

now with so many ppl on QM why only around 9 races at a time. usually the same ppl too.

alright i understand what you're saying. it's your way of trying to get more ppl to stay active and hands on in the game. our credits that we are accruing doesn't pop up till we get online. lame if you ask me, but fine.

maybe you should update your game play guide a little better cause for all the years i played MC, i was always under the impression that it always accrued while online or off. it never states that you don't get your accrued credits till you log in. keeping an informed player base is kinda key to keeping your players happy.

i dont really play mc now a days
but my honest to god opinions are that we need to do away with ap/qm all together
im not trying to make a post saying bring back gold or any thing like that
but alot more people use to be on back then because u had to stay on to get races
now adays it basicaly races for you
that takes all the fun out of the game
i beleive sitting here for hours and hours racing is the best part of the game
but slowly it has been changing

and no offense ray but now the changes have been more towards the spending aspect of the game
not that there is anything wrong with that seeing as this is a buisness

but thats my 2 cents

QM will no longer match you up with someone that does not have fuel, tune-up, or tires to race even if they have QM turned ON.

Thus, if you have QM turned ON and run out of cash or credits, QM won't refuel/retune/buy tires for you, so you will not get matched up in any races until you log in and get more credits and cash.

I agree with tokk if we give it a chance and just try and tweak the things to it like the changes today about Qm then maybe when its into a good way it will be good.All the admins are doing is just trying things out to see what brings people and what pushes them away and people will probly say its pushing away atm but yes it has but some are coming back and the Admins are just trying to make the game better.

People always complain about this and that, but what are they trying to do to help. Nothing, there are only a few of us who are even trying to help progress the game.

I understand some of the changes are different, but atleast give it a chance. Mc is going the right direction. Its not just the vets game, It gives the newer players a chance to shine and to develop.

I think its great, it just needs some tweaks in qm and a few aspects of the game.

well me complaining helped them somewhat fix QM didn't it? ;)

the current trend seems to be that the only way to get things done around here is to see who can shout the loudest. i played this game almost from day one. there were many times when things were wrong and admin ignored our civil protests. there were even times when people had valid concerns and questions about prizes and bugs in game and people cheating, but the admin would quietly sit in the corner and do nothing. almost as if they disappeared.

the only time when the admin ever respond is when i say things brashly and they feel the need to openly defend themselves. at least now they don't have mods just delete negative threads like they used to.

and btw, there are many ways around just implementing changes and seeing if the general game populous likes it. just throwing things out there live without working out all the kinks is a recipe for disaster.

All im going to say in that i like Qm nothing wrong with it too much really.If the Admins kept MC,SH and TS the same then there would be all these vets who will find out HI combos and things like that.The more times you do more and different changes the non-vets think oh we *may* try and do better.Qm has helped these noobs that I talk to alot,so tbh if you dont like Qm then dont use it.....Just race when your online and then try it out each time things are changed.I have actully seen alot more players coming on now(maybe noobs but every1 was once :confused:.See im in the UK and when im on the game most of you are at work or sleeping so when im on I have seen a few more people who have the sort of Time Difference like me.When your all on im usually at School/College or Sleeping :).

@ Admins-Tbh Qm is good some people dont like it just becuase they are mainly used to AP.So keep Qm and its your game you have to compete with others (if there are any) and just push it forward.
