Here is a crazy idea.
What about adding drag/funny cars to the mix. Have certain Drag cars better for (obviously) drag racing, and imports are better at street racing. That way there would be a notable difference between the two types of races, and even better more reason to buy more than one car.
Just for example, you have a Funny Car that runs 3 second quarter miles, yet in a street race it blows, And your Import runs a 10 second quarter mile, but owns in street races.
