alrite guys i have started a new mc guide which only a few people have seen...my question is do u think that a new mc guide will help people???

this guide is going to have 3 parts...

part 1 learning to play like Lude

this is the part where there is going to have strats to racing/tuning and things like that... this is also where im going to teach you how to win IDE, top crew, top 10/25

part 2 stealers guide

this is the part where its goin to teach you to HI/boost/recruit...it will also have strats for how to win top hi and top boost

part 3 veterns guide

this is the part where im going to teach you how to win top crew leader and #1 since i believe these are the hardest medals to win....also by this guide u should already know and be decent at the game...so this is more for people who want to go further than jus the normal medals...

jus want to know what u all think...i already started the introduction portion...im hoping this will increase the amount of people playing, increase the competition, and keep people playing longer...but i dont wanna waste my time finishing the guide if the majority thinks its not going to help

I think you should release it to the public. I could help out noobs and some people that have the basic idea of the game.

So I vote for yes!

Voted Yes...A new guide to the game is long overdue.
I know i looked for any hints and tips i could get when i first starting playing.

alrite guys..i guess i will continue it...it seems like everyone thinks it will help so this is what im going to do....i already started it, but i never put any of my strats in it... i basically jus explained everything...what everything is and all that stuff...

as for the help, i mean it is a pain in the ass to do it, but this is going to be all my strats...so getting help from others isnt a good idea cuz then its not learning to play like me....im giving out all my strategies to win every medal there is there...so im hoping this guide will give out more competition, especially to the vets...that way vets will not underestimate the noobs....

Yeah I agree. I have been learning to HI basically on my own, doing not bad, but with no real help. As for the basics and how to race/tune/work etc. sure, but to teach them to go for the top right away, then I would have to leave. It's taken my a good amount of time to gain peoples trust and to learn to play this game right. And I don't think handing it over to noobs is going to help them the right way.

rome doesnt want me to open up HI and boost because he wants to hold the secrets...i dont believe that its the right thing to do...i think everyone should have the shot to learn...i understand that other people have spent time and money learning...but when they are asked from a noob they believe that noobs shouldnt learn...and when they are hit from some account that hasnt even been on, they assume multi...i dont believe this is right..HI and boost isnt that hard to figure out...i believe everyone should go for what they want...i mean HI and boost isnt only set out to vets to win and know...its a part of the game that everyone should be able to learn and do...

I still have to disagree to a point. I was taught how to race and work etc, but not really to HI etc. I was giving some very small tips, but that's it. I had learned that part on my own. Which is how all should learn it. Get someone to teach and trust to teach you. What is the real sense of the game, if someone can just read a manual and go??? This isn't a model car or something here. This is like any other game, play it, learn it, then beat it. Not read a manual and kick ass!!! Sure I want to see this game succeed and have hundreds of players, but not this way! Sorry but this will not help the game in the long run IMHO. People need to wait and learn like 90% of the rest of the players here. :poop:

Bryce ya know I love ya but I can only partially agree. Thievery is an art almost, its always been the mystery of the game, the part people figure out last. After they get a hold of racing, working and get some top 25's and 10's and other medals under their belts. After you figure all that out you sit for sessions trying this and that and finding all the fine points you would not have thought existed. So many people spent so much time and money to be patient and learn. I think giving it away cheapens it. I think your right more people will play if you release your guide, but not for long, knowing everything becomes boring, that is why vets leave after all. More importantly in a month or two the algorithm will change and it will be time to start over.

I remember well when Teet put his "bible" out, does anyone else? Where are we now? Sitting here talking about putting out another "bible" when arguably one of the games greatest has already done so. It increased home invasions for a touch, nobody bothered to do all the racing and working tips he worked so hard to perfect because it was not as much fun as home invading. Are there more people online now or then? Nope, I personally think it took something away, the game had to be changed, and nobody was willing to stick around. Telling people everything leaves the game with nothing new to figure out, no new lessons, no mystery, and quite honestly makes it a bore. Just my two cents, I respect everyones opinion but with all due respect I have already been through this scenario and know more about what happens than the rest of you.

I agree 1000% percent, if that makes sense? LOL!! The game must have some mystery and or unknowns.

Maybe the guide should atleast put n00bs on the right track to learning how IE. Timing matters, NW matters etc etc so then n00bs can figure out they need to vary those things to see what works... ya know?

Hey guys, I think a bible is a good idea, it should only be something that explains a way through the game, how to play it, NOT exactly what to do to win. You can tell them how to HI, Car Jack and etc but to a degree. I rather everybody know how to do it, so the competition is more exciting. This way all of you will have more fun.

Once it is done, send it to me and I will create a PDF of it so anybody can download the file and read it.

Thanks

Maybe, I take issue with putting something out that makes the playing field level for everyone, after all why did I spend the time so others can read a bible? Instructions for making HI more successful is fine, explain how to find timing blah blah blah but exact location to the treasure is cheap, and will kill the game. Like I said guys, last time a bible was put out the game did not grow, as you can see now with only 10 people on at a time.

i had to learn everything.

4 years it took, of being cheated screwed and fucked, even when i tried to do things legit.

i didnt just wake up and start boosting magicly i spent many many sessions learning myself, there is a pride in that.

if you want to teach people and spoon feed them, i cant nor will try stop you, in fact i wont even care, but since you asked for opinions i decided to give mine.

so excuse the circumstances that shaped my mc life influencing my statement.

teach people what you want to teach them lude, dont ask for others opinions, this whole new bible thing has been talked about and will continue to be until its actualy done.

and i think we should credit justin for being the first to put in the time to do it originaly.

its easy to teach someone to HI and Boost, the algorithm will change and it will confuse people, if you look back ive already made a post called rome_invasian which outlines what is in the algorithm and what matters anyway.

its no secret.

yeah i think this will definitely help noobs play better and stay. i remember back in the day reading the mc bible and figuring everything out when i started, so i definitely think this would be good. I'm not a noob anymore, but i would still want to see it so I can play like LUDE!

I agree Romeo, but I'm tired of it being so easy. We both know, if Lude writes a guide and everyone reads it, it won't instantly make everyone as good as Bryce.

It'll still take trial and error, they'll just be more competition.

im not even that good...lol...but that is true...there still will need to be things they need to figure out...jus because i tell them doesnt mean that it will jus auto happen...jus like jeremy..he taught people how to HI and they would complain because they thought he was lying to them because they couldnt figure it out..

I've told at least 50 people EXACTLY how I HI'd, and EXACTLY how they can win top Car Jack with the stock credits only.

You wanna know how many of them have accomplished it?

Exactly, 0.

You wanna know how many of them have HI'd people and created competition, though they didn't win a medal?

Most likely most of them. It still takes time, money, and effort to win. It has nothing to do with a guide. That will only get them along their way.

Ok then, let's play a game. PM me your Hi info, explain what you look for, numbers, and your findings about hitting people. Make is somewhat basic as a bible would give. I am presently in 3rd place for top HI's, and lets see if I can use your info to reach the stars, this is a test, and nothing but. I am not a vet when it comes to hitting people either. I will not spend any, and only use my credits to hit only.

LOL Bryce with all due respect thats not what the opening post suggests, at no point does it say to people who deserve it it says to everyone. Just didnt want you to think we did not read what you wrote. I still am in the same place on this issue, don't get me wrong I wont whine if it is done either. I am simply stating once again what happened when Justin's was put out, short burst and look at the game now. I don't blame Justin for that, we had no idea at the time as I am assuming most of you don't now. In any case good luck in the endeavors, I am sure it will all work out.
