I thought you've been on this earth long enough to have heard it used for the first time.

i think its because people see the times and think they can beat them so they spend their money and credits and end up not even making the list...wasting credits = a chance someone will buy more = more money for the CI people

I can see how that would happen. I guess I would expect for the noobs running IDE to ask a vet before they spend cash in order to be on there.

i tihnk why they do it is exactly that, who wants to give away there real time, so the add roughly 0.2 seconds to there time

yea they do cause i ran a guy that has just gone for IDE and it will say he runs 9.6 and he actually runs 9.4s. I always wondered why that is. I dunno true you would want guys to know what you are actually running and then thats a way to win alot more races.

actually, that makes more sense than my explanation.

but if it always is .2 sec..than everyone will know ur real time...

a bit off topic, but still IDE. have a look at the stats, they are so close, what happens with the tie for domestic? sg-tan and pwnedw00t both ran 9.423 @ 143.59

who ever is on top gets it. i think it is the person who ran it last. ...correct me if im wrong.

LuDe

the person who ran it first will take the first spot..i saw it too...

last one to get in tehre, or is it first one, i know i was tied with sgtan for a bit, and i was ahead, i tihnk first tiem posted is the better one

KaibiganSi

Yeah I saw that too. What I didn't understand is how the first place time was like 9.423 @ 143.58 and that was ahead of the guys tied at 9.423 @ 143.59. Shouldn't 143.59 be faster than 143.59? Congrats to SG for actually winning and that other guy for coming close to I guess.

yeha sounds a little weird, but if you look at it, they would ahve been different car matt, like ones might take off faster, but peak to early, where as 1 might just have a higher top speed, but a slow take off, very possible
