how to get "at home"

ok, so how do you get to the "at home" status before you log out? ive been up to the top 12, but get hi'd every time i even get close now. i can uninstall and reinstall a part (like an aero kit) but that seems to screw up my et's for some reason. any other reason?

log out and back on quickly will set you to home...but all they have to do is race you offline and you'll go back to racing status. It don't matter if for racing or home people are gonna HI you :-\

And that's what's gay about this game, that 1 aspect!
I would be kewl with it, if there was some over seas acct. I could stash my $$$ in b4 I left for work.

well he did ask how these are some awnsers on how,and ppl only hit u because ya stat is on prwling wen u HI umtil u change it or log out thats why when u get a hit someone hits you.or its jst bad luck lol
