How about realism? I seem to remember somewhere in the signup process something saying how realistic this game is. Couldn't be further off the mark. Who did the research for this game? I can't get NOS on a Sylvia s15... I can't get a throttle body for my 911... I can double the horsepower in my 928gts and gain a tenth of a second in the 1/4 mile... WHEN TUNING, I was told by a top player to pay attention only to my 60 ft times every time I change something, HOWEVER, right in the MC tuning tips, it says (in reference to tire pressures I believe) that faster 60 ft times do not always translate into fast 1/4 miles times. I really can't wait for Forza 2.
you pay attention to the 60 foot time because those create the most consistant times. Sure you may run faster once or twice with a different #, but is that what you want, or you want something consistant. Not sure why they dont have those parts for the cars you have in question, but I will say this. It is as close as they have made it. You got to remember that there are countless # of parts, for each car. They may have missed a few parts here and there.
Consistent would matter more if this was bracket racing. There are so many more things I could say about the lack of realism. I notice that you didnt touch on my double the PR and only gain a tenth of a second complaint. That's another thing, what the crap is PR? Does it mean horsepower? Does anyone realize that torque is a really important number too? Ferraris have crap for torque which makes them great for circuit racing, terrible for drag racing. Does anyone realize that a Mitsubishi Evo is gonna be way easier to drag race than a Camaro? All wheel drive 285whp launch vs rwd 310whp launch. The Evo is going to hook up immediately while the camaro spins out of the start. Yet, you have to be a higher level (better driver) to drive an Evo. Level 10 weight reduction. What else do I have to say? Are we converting our cars to body on tube-frame chassis funny cars at this point? Ive got 1600 PR in my 911. I am running 9.6. There are front wheel drive 1600 hp cars that run mid 6's. This is a rear engine, rear wheel drive car, should be a little better than FF. Why can't I buy Mickey Thompson or Hoosier tires...This IS drag racing isn't it? Lack of realism.
Ok...in the end this is a game. With the whole PR vs Weight. You gotta look at it like this.
Too much PR, with no weight means what. Your tires dont hook up.
OK true. But now tell me where I can find a real 2.4 liter flat six with 1600 horsepower. Must be naturally aspirated.

Sorry, I meant 1300. The challenge still stands.

dude...it's not realistic at all. deal with it. obviously you don't even know that much about drag racing in the first place. I hate to be a dick here but i've seen more than one post where you complain about this. If you don't like it don't play it. simple as that man. It's not like the cars matter all too much anyway. it's a strategy game anyway.
