can i get in trouble for advertising MC on facebook?
for instance if i made and app page for it to bring more people to the site?

its your facebook page you can do what ever the hell u want with it.As for apps on facebook if someone reports it as offensive then they will trash the app but i don't see any harm in it.
u can advertise for people to join just not to advertised on here
