that's part of the equation. the reason they can't afford to do that anymore is because not enough people are playing and spending money. it just isn't economically viable for them to do that anymore. heck... they used to have prizes for top 10 at one point. :p

ok, how about this (i know a variation has been pitched before but anyway) bring back a 2nd game that's sort of like gold. only one's who can access are people that have had top 25/or something like that (i'd say wins, but there's not enough to make it any good, top 25 has a good number but not a ton) And make this game have the coding of the original game, back in the old days. Maybe start it off with small prizes like just credits or whatever basically just giving it a test to see how it goes. This would give people in the regular game more incentive to try to get top 25, increasing the difficulty of that hopefully and perhaps increase of credit spending on regular. What you think? feel free to alter the idea/whatever. it just came to me, if it sounds good then one of you that actually talk with the higher powers can pitch it.

but that would also cause ppl to make even more multis to cheat their way to top 25 just so they could get in the new game

the current version of MC is referred 2 as "Rev2" cuz it's basically version 2.0. b4 Rev2, MC had a "regular" and "gold" game. regular was free 2 play, but u could also buy credits. gold game was only 4 ppl who purchased memberships at a rate of $5 a month, however u got more credits, a higher credit storage limit and access 2 a few more cars.
