Prohibit - I wasnt tryin to come off like a smart ass or anything. Im just saying your a new player (I think..?) and it will take you a lil to realize how everything runs.
I agree with calder on the spending part, but wouldnt removing all bonuses in a sense promote MORE spending? People would be closer in level, so maybe not. But I kinda feel like adding bonuses would be the same as just taking them out. Keep everyone equal....at least for a few sessions and see what happens
Sorry for the double post.
@Hehateme
Yeah I guess it would relate to the same in game, but I went under the assumption that the addition of the bonus upped spending, therefore the removal of it would drop spending again that's all.
I think if it were laid out the way I mentioned then it wouldn't be as big an advantage but still one people were willing to spend a few bucks here and there to get.
@big bang
I'm sorry I just never understood the whole "the game is all about spending now" bullshit excuse. Sorry but the game was ALWAYS about spending. If you could afford to spend and couldn't win one of two things happened 1. you're an idiot and should take up tiddly winks for your strategy gaming 2. somebody else out spent you.
And the I can spam races thing.... oh yeah much less talented than I can spend countless hours online waiting for someone that probably isn't there to accept a race...
I thought we were through with this comparing the old way to the new way? NEITHER took any talent, one takes the ability to click a mouse repeatedly the other took a lot of time and... wait for it... the ability to click a mouse O.o Stop with the I quit because the game is easy crap, if it's easier the vets should own it easier than they once did and not bitch about change >.< It just gets so tiring listening to the same tired excuses for why people don't compete.
Sorry, that does sound like it but it really isn't a flame. It's just a lame excuse I hear too often. The game is about making money, it's no harder to compete now than before, I don't spend nearly $50 a session, in fact last session I only spent at the end to take the heat off Paul...
