Top shift is that way .
Unless they made it offline-able, then it might be a decent thing to try, as long as huge EXP gains was made.

wow my bad..i didnt mean touraments..i meant ET racing. It's where you put in what you would run and the winner would be whos the closest to there ET. It would be alot different and everybody can play it.

that's actually a damn good idea. cuz ur not racing against the other person, persay, ur racing against ur time. and the closest 2 their time w/o breaking out would win it. too bad there's nothing u can do 2 control the huge variations n E.T. and R/T.
maybe if there were seperate cars and parts u could buy, specifically 4 bracket racing. like auto tranny's with air shifters and 3 stage rev limiters... things like that. course, more things come n2 play with bracket racing, like atmosphere conditions and track temperature. damn, y am i giving these ppl ideas..... randy, u wanted 2 create a game, we got it bitch!!! :p

If you were level 1 racing a Level 11 racer This might happen:
You
R/T: 1.542
E/T: 13.469
Dial: 13.420
Opponent:
R/T: 1.082
E/T: 10.274
Dial: 10.000
You will be much closer to your Dial In, but the Reaction Time has a huge factor in Racing, so since he killed you when leaving the line, he would win the race.
Ed, you are also right. There would have to be some sort of mechanics or an in-game computer to set up your car for track conditions such as the Track Temp..

i'll give u an analogy u can comprehend.....
bracket racing is 4 slow ppl who want 2 compete against fast ppl..... like imports goin up against domestics.
bracket racing and H2H r basically the same thing, ur racing against an opponent. H2H, ur oppenent is some1 else. bracket, ur opponent is the clock. they're both equally difficult IRL, not so much on this particular game.
