yeah alpine type r is probably the best bang for the buck but im not big on them either

but then again i dont like kicker or jl
u can get alot better quality for the price of kicker and jl

my bro had 2 kicker 12's in his crx is now half def ... my lanzars beat out 4 15''s in the last comp i was in but with lanzar u havta make sure u have the right amount of space or they sound like shit
